El Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata abre la convocatoria para su 41° edición, que se realizará del 5 al 15 de noviembre de 2026.
Las inscripciones estarán abiertas del 4 de mayo al 30 de junio de 2026 para films nacionales e internacionales de todos los géneros.

El festival recibe largometrajes, mediometrajes y cortometrajes para las siguientes secciones:
- Competencia Internacional
- Competencia Latinoamericana
- Competencia Argentina
- En Tránsito / WIP (proyectos argentinos y latinoamericanos en desarrollo)
- Panorama (no competitivo)
Requisitos de elegibilidad
Las obras postuladas deben haber sido terminadas dentro de los 12 meses previos al inicio del festival, es decir, entre noviembre de 2025 y noviembre de 2026, sin exhibiciones públicas previas en el país.
Para la selección, se requiere un link de descarga con contraseña válida hasta el final del festival y un peso máximo de 2GB.
Aranceles
Los aranceles de inscripción varían según el origen y la duración de la obra.
- Largometrajes internacionales: USD 60.
- Mediometrajes y cortometrajes internacionales: USD 30.
- Largometrajes nacionales: $60.000 (ARS).
- Mediometrajes y cortometrajes nacionales: $30.000 (ARS).
El Festival Internacional de Cine de Mar del Plata es el único festival de América Latina con categoría A otorgada por la FIAPF, consolidándose como una de las plataformas de exhibición y circulación más importantes para la industria creativa en el mundo.
Organizado por el INCAA, dependiente de la Secretaría de Cultura de la Nación, y por tercer año consecutivo, se desarrolla en articulación con el Ente Municipal de Turismo y Cultura de Mar del Plata (EMTURyC), dependiente de la Municipalidad de General Pueyrredón, en el marco del convenio de cooperación vigente.
Entries Open for the 41st Mar del Plata International Film Festival
The Mar del Plata International Film Festival is now accepting entries for its 41st edition, to be held between November 5–15, 2026.
Entries will be open from May 4 through June 30, 2026, for Argentine and international films of all genres.
Filmmakers and production companies from around the world may submit their works through the official website: mardelplatafilmfest.com.

Eligibility Requirements
• Submitted works must have been completed within the 12 months prior to the start of the festival, between November 2025 and November 2026, and must not have had previous public screenings in Argentina.
• For consideration, applicants must provide a password-protected download link valid through the end of the festival, with a maximum file size of 2GB.
Submission Fees
Submission fees vary depending on the film’s country of origin and running time.
- International feature films: USD 60
- International medium-length and short films: USD 30
- Argentine feature films: ARS 60,000
- Argentine medium-length and short films: ARS 30,000
The Mar del Plata International Film Festival is the only FIAPF-accredited Category A film festival in Latin America, reinforcing its position as one of the leading platforms for the exhibition and international circulation of the creative industry worldwide
The festival is organized by INCAA, under the Argentine Secretariat of Culture, and, for the third consecutive year, it takes place in partnership with the Ente Municipal de Turismo y Cultura de Mar del Plata (EMTURyC), under the Municipalidad de General Pueyrredón, within the framework of the current cooperation agreement.
